OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION

The SPX Old Boy Association (SPXOBA) was reformed in 1995 by Michael Watkins (1970), Vince Davoren (1970), Br David Curtin (1968), David Watkins (1979), Bill Gleeson (1972), Joe Gillespie (1960), Mark Byron (1970), with the primary objective to enable SPX Old Boys to stay in touch with their SPX classmates and the college.

Through various fund raising activities and donations, the SPXOBA also provides financial assistance to current SPX students in their pursuit of excellence and also provides funds to various projects throughout the college, the college community and internationally through Christian Brothers Aid initiatives.

The SPXOBA supports the Christian values learnt through a Christian Brothers education.

The SPXOBA endeavours to provide and encourage a network for Old Boys in the professional and business community with the view to also providing career mentoring for current SPX students.
